Meet Our Team

Jenny Nash, Principal

Hello! I am Jenny Nash. This is my 21st year in education and my tenth year at VES. I love being a Chameleon and a part of the Maize School District. Throughout my career in education I have taught Kindergarten and fifth grade for a combined 15 years and then been in administration for six years.

I am the wife to Dave and mom to Kamryn (18), Kadynce (18), and Kendyll (15). Dave is an Assistant Principal at Maize South High School. Kamryn and Kadynce are both college freshman and Kendyll is a sophomore at MSHS. All three of our girls attended Vermillion when they were younger.

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, being outdoors, and playing sports. The girls also keep us pretty busy!

I am looking forward to a fantastic year with you and your child.

Welcome to Vermillion Elementary School! We are excited for a school year filled with opportunities for growth and learning. Every child at Vermillion is empowered through teaching and learning to be the very best that they can be.

We are committed to providing a positive, safe, and stimulating environment where everyone is known and valued, and where differing needs are acknowledged, accepted, and met. We intend for all of our students to enjoy their learning, achieve their potential, and become independent lifelong learners who contribute to their community.
